Peru’s New President Promises Water for Poor

President Ollanta Humala

Peru’s newly inaugurated president, Ollanta Humala, was elected on the campaign promise of sharing Peru’s economic prosperity with the nation’s poor. Among his pledges are access to clean water and sanitation facilities in the poorest communities throughout Peru.
